We celebrate the classic Danish lunch with open sandwiches at the center. Our kitchen is driven by a love for tradition and good craftsmanship.
The menu ranges from herring and fish to meat and warm dishes, supplemented with daily specials – everything can be combined as you wish and finished with cheese or something sweet.
We look forward to welcoming you to a lunch where tradition meets renewal.
Evening menu
Danish-French brasserie
Every evening, the restaurant transforms into a brasserie with seasonal ingredients from Denmark and France. The menu is based on classic Danish and French traditions, interpreted with a modern twist.
You compose your own dinner and enjoy it at your own pace, at the table or at the dining bar. We recommend finishing with dessert or cheeses from the trolley.

An outstanding wine list
Restaurant Møntergade is not only known for its Danish and French cuisine, but also for an exceptional wine list. With over 1,500 wines across 65 pages, the restaurant offers one of the city’s most extensive wine experiences – from Grand Cru Burgundy to small, passionate producers.
The wine list has received great recognition and been a finalist in several categories at Star Wine List of the Year Denmark, including “Best Long List”.
