About Møntergade
History
Restaurant Møntergade is located right at the junction where Gammel Mønt meets Møntergade. Our two buildings have previously been home to great Danish gastronomic history. At Møntergade 19, where our à la carte restaurant is today, Bo and Lisbeth Jacobsen ran Restaurationen for 29 years.
It is Simon, Karina and Rasmus who have been fortunate enough to take over the iconic premises to now realise a dream.
A dream of standing on their own feet – not on shaky ground, but on the foundation they form together with their people, and with the hope of carrying on the traditions.
