Gift card to the Restaurant
When you buy a gift card for our restaurant, you can use this throughout the restaurant’s opening hours. Which means you can use it for either the lunch restaurant or for the brasserie (evening).
No matter when you choose to visit us, we look forward to welcoming you and your guests, with a menu created on the best ingredients of the season.
We would like to encourage you to book a table before you visit us, as we often experience busy periods and therefore can not guarantee available tables.

How it works
You can buy a gift card online or in our opening hours. When you pay online for a gift card, it is sent electronically, and received either via SMS or email (you choose this in the payment flow).
The electronic gift card works by either entering your recipient’s email or phone number.
You can decide for yourself what the date and time of receipt is. There is of course the possibility that you can attach a small greeting to the recipient.
You decide for yourself what amount the gift card contains.
You also easily choose if you want to send more than one gift card.
The payment takes place online, and then we send it at the selected time directly to your email.
If you prefer a physical gift card, we can also make one for you in a nice wrap, which you can pick up in our restaurant by appointment.

In the heart of Copenhagen, you will find Restaurant Møntergade in a location that has housed many different restaurants for decades. Here we welcome our guests inside, both for lunch and dinner.
For lunch we serve open faced sandwiches created on the joy and passion of the classic Danish lunch kitchen and for the evening we invite you to a unique menu of uncompromising taste experience, inspired by the Danish and French cuisine.

When the evening falls we change the menu card. This is when we transform into a Danish/French Brasserie.
Drinks
We offer a large selection of spirits and aquavits. The drinks menu also has various options for juices and soft drinks if you want to enjoy something that is non-alcoholic.
The brasserie is based on classic Danish and French dishes. Which means a good glass of wine. We are proud of our wine list and it holds a very wide range of wines.
All wines are carefully selected and compliment our menu in the finest way.
With a passion. We offer a wide selection of wines, from many parts of the world. Our waiters will help you choose the right one to your liking.
No matter when you visit us, we also offer a selection of bubbles and champagne.

This is how Møntergade started
In Copenhagen you will find many wonderful dining experiences. We are proud to be known for serving first-class open sandwiches. If you need a gift card for a good gourmet dinner, you will not go in vain either.
We are located where Gammel Mønt and Møntergade meet. On one street corner you will find an adorable red half-timbered house and our beautiful rooms on the opposite street corner.
This means that you will find both our lunch restaurant and the brasserie at the same address.
We still live in our small, beautiful, red half-timbered house. Here we welcome our banquets and groups of people. Here we host wine tastings on a regular basis.
